The idea behind Alice & Mae

We started Alice & Mae because we were tired of the same choice: pay too much on the high street, or gamble on quality online. There had to be a middle ground. Clothing that looks good, feels right, and doesn't cost more than it should.

That idea became this shop.

What you'll find here

We keep things simple. Our collection covers men's and women's fashion. From t-shirts, trousers, and shirts to shoes, jackets, and dresses. We work with a small number of manufacturers and review every product before it goes live in our shop. If it doesn't meet our expectations, it doesn't get listed.

Straight from source to your doorstep

Here's exactly how it works when you place an order.

We work directly with selected manufacturers in China. When you order, your items are packed at the manufacturer and shipped straight to you in the UK. Shipping is free on all UK orders.

Every order is sent as DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). That means the price at checkout is the final price — no customs charges, no import fees, no surprises when the parcel arrives. Delivery takes 6–10 working days in total: 1–2 days for processing and 5–8 days for shipping. You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order is on its way.

Need to send something back? You have 30 days. Returns go to our warehouse in Shenzhen, China, and our customer service team will walk you through the process from start to finish.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

Our commitment to you

We are a small brand, and that is by choice. It means we can pay attention to the things that matter: the quality of our products, the honesty of our communication, and the people who choose to shop with us. Should you wish to return an item, please note that as our products are shipped directly from our manufacturers in China, returns are to be sent back to our returns centre in China. Our customer service team will guide you through every step of the process. If something is not right, we want to hear about it — and we will make it right.

About our name

Alice & Mae is a British-inspired fashion brand. The "London" in our name reflects the design sensibility behind the collection — clean lines, effortless tailoring, and the understated style associated with the city. It does not refer to the location of our company or our warehouse.

To be fully transparent: Alice & Mae is operated by Golo Group Limited, a company registered in Hong Kong. We work directly with selected manufacturing partners in China, and your orders are shipped from our warehouse in Shenzhen to your address in the UK. We believe customers deserve to know exactly how the business they buy from is structured, so there are no surprises.
